What are membership credits?

Class providers who run their own membership or loyalty programs can opt to offer credits whenever someone becomes a new member or renews their membership. 

Each credit has an equivalent dollar amount, which a member can then apply as a dollar discount when booking on WeTeachMe. One (1) credit is equivalent to one (1) dollar. (i.e., 5 credits equal $5, 10 credits equal $10, and so on)

Important reminders about memberships and membership credits

  • Memberships and membership credits are offered by select vendors. This is completely unrelated to WeTeachMe's own membership system. 
  • NOT ALL class providers offer memberships.
  • NOT ALL memberships offer credits. Visit the class provider's profile page to find out if memberships are offered and their specific benefits.
  • Membership credits can only be used when booking with the same class provider who issued the credits. They are not applicable on any other transaction on WeTeachMe.
  • If the class provider offers memberships, they have the option to offer member discounts or credits only on selected tickets.
  • If you're able to pay for membership with a class provider and they also offer membership credits, if applicable, you can avail of the given credits as a discount against the ticket price.
  • If a class provider offers membership, this option will be displayed at the top of their booking site. You can then pay for membership EITHER (a) through that booking site facility OR (b) upon checkout, after you've selected a ticket.
  • Your email address will be used to automatically identify your membership.

How to use your membership credits

1. Book a class as usual and follow the prompts. 

  • Already paid for your membership? Proceed to Step 2 below. 
  • No membership yet? You will be prompted upon checkout to add membership to your order.

2. In Billing & Payment, you will find the option to "Use Member Credit". 

  • If you wish to use your credit, tick the box beside "Yes, I want to use my member credit on this order."
  • If you prefer not to apply your credit in this order, do not tick the box. 

Once applied, the dollar equivalent of your membership credit will be shown as deducted from your total purchase.

3. Follow the prompts to proceed with your secure payment and complete your order.

After completing your order

You will receive a payment confirmation email, which will also show the membership credit you applied during purchase. (If you did not receive this email immediately after your purchase, check your spam folder.)

Any remaining credits can only be used when booking with the same class provider who issued the credits. They are not applicable on any other transaction on WeTeachMe.
