Star-only reviews don't appear as individual review entries
The answer
If a student leaves only a star rating with no written comment, that review still counts toward the class's overall star rating and review count, but it will not appear as an individual review entry in review sections or review widgets. Those displays intentionally show only reviews with written text (the platform filters on the review having a non-empty comment).
This is expected behaviour, not a missing or deleted review.
What to tell a vendor asking "where is my review?" / "review not showing"
- Check whether the review included written text. Star-only → it's counted in the aggregate rating but won't be listed individually.
- If the review DID include written text and still isn't showing, that's not this behaviour — escalate for investigation (moderation flags or a display bug).
Common phrasings this answers
"Review is missing", "customer left a review but I can't see it", "review not displaying on my listing", "star rating changed but no review appeared", "review widget not showing a review".
