Duplicating your listing actually does more harm than good, but this quick tip will help.
If you want more people to see a particular listing, the easiest way is to add more dates to the original listing instead of creating a duplicate listing. Creating a duplicate listing doesn't give any special advantage if you're only trying to get more exposure.
-
On the marketplace: Every upcoming date has the same level of exposure on search results.
-
On your booking site: You can configure the integration so that every new date shows up as an individual widget.
-
On your dashboard: To understand how well a listing is performing, it's best to see its sales history over time. Duplicating a listing won't give you this insight, but it will only create more listings to go through.
When to duplicate
- You want to run the same or similar class, but need to change some of the content (e.g., location, online/In-person, ability level, etc.).
When NOT to duplicate
-
You want to add new dates or tickets to the original listing.
-
You want to display more class widgets on your site.
-
You want to keep your reviews intact. Each time you duplicate, the reviews on the original listing are not carried over to the new one.
